ALBANY, GA --
City of Albany Mayor Dorothy Hubbard gave a nine month update of what she is doing in office on Tuesday.

Mayor Hubbard spoke about her Call to Action where she is encouraging residents to help clean up blight and says one of her biggest worries was taking down the Heritage House.

Now that it's down Mayor Hubbard says she's thrilled and is now looking forward to future meetings on the town's economic development and what Albany can do to grow more jobs.

Mayor Hubbard says it's important to update the public on what she's doing but the most important part of it is getting people to participate so that we as a whole can make the town better.
