File
ALBANY, GA -- Starting next spring,
Albany Technical College
students will have a new degree program to choose from.
Officials with
Albany Tech
announced that the Operations Management program will begin accepting students for the Spring 2013 semester. The program is designed to train students, allowing them to enter the workforce as an entry-level supervisor within a manufacturing community.
While complimenting
existing manufacturing related programs at Albany Tech, the courses will acquaint students with the different operations necessary for the successful flow of production within an organization.
Officials say that students earning the associate degree in Operations Management will complete the educational requirements for Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) and have the opportunity to complete other requirements for certification testing. Albany Technical College will also offer PMP certification and CAPM certification in a non-credit offering for individuals and companies needing this specialized training.
Albany Tech officials add that registration for the program is already underway for the spring semester.
