Zombies invaded the Albany River Front Saturday afternoon for the Flint Riverquarium Race for Your Life Zombie Run.

330 participants ran the 5K course, which was laced with obstacles and Zombies who were after their life flags. The object of the race was to be the fastest to the finish line with as many life flags remaining as possible.

There's a lot of 5K's in the area, and we were talking about a different way to do a 5K and I had heard, about zombie runs in other places, so I thought I'd give it a shot, said Vicki Churchman from theFlint RiverQuarium.

Today's winners were Jacob Gonzalez for the men and Paisley Greene for the women, both managed to cross the finish line with all their flags.
