Early morning truck fire ruled arson

ALBANY, GA --

A truck fire that occurred Friday morning on Silica Rd is being ruled arson.

Investigators say a stolen 1998 Grey Chevrolet Silverado, was intentionally set on fire.

The Albany Fire Department was able to extinguish the flames to the truck and surrounding areas.

No word on if the person who stole and set the truck on fire has been caught.

The owner of the truck was notified, and the investigation will continue.
