Shortly after 7 a.m. a 12-year-old girl was hit by a car on her way to school.

12-year-old Keturah Power was walking on Westwood Drive when 23-year-old Holly Hamilton rounded a corner and hit her.  Powe was taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment. 

At this time police say no charges have been filed, however the incident is still under investigation.
