ALBANY, GA --
The Central branch of the Dougherty County Public Library will be start renovations at the end of the November.

Officials with the library say that their will have a temporary location set up at 114 North Jackson Street next to Subway. This location will open on December 3rd with limited resources and computer terminals.

Representatives add that if you need any of the books that are not available at our temporary location or at our other branches, Northwest and Tallulah Massey, patrons can request an item on the online catalog to be delivered to the temporary location within 2 days.

They expect the renovation process can last anywhere from seven to nine months.
