Boot, shoot and boogie the night away

ALBANY, GA --
Folks were out at Wynfield Plantation Saturday to help the Junior League of Albany was raising money for the Lily Pad and Children's Miracle Network.

They were showing off their skills with a rifle in hopes of winning the coveted title of best boot shoot.

20 teams participated and the winning team received a half-day quail hunt for four, including lunch and one year membership to Flint Skeet and Trap Club.

They were also raffling off a Yeti cooler.

“Well we've got a great day, great weather for this; the Boot, Shoot and Boogie. It's going to raise a lot of money for some of our local charities and we couldn't have asked for better weather!"

The event culminated with the "boogie" part of Boot, Shoot and Boogie, with dinner and dancing featuring Highway 55.
