Johnny Anthony Allen arrested after shooting and killing a man in Lee County.

ALBANY, GA -- According Agent Danny Jackson with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Officials with the Lee County Sheriff's office responded to a shooting Friday night around 9:30 PM at the intersection of Knollwood Drive and Creekside Drive.
38-year-old Johnny Anthony Allen is in the Lee County Jail and has been charged with murder, and aggravated assault after he shot the victim, 48-year-old Robert Patton, in the chest.
Patton was rushed to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and died shortly after.
Officials say Allen got into a verbal argument with a woman when Patton interjected, which led to the shooting.
