ALBANY, GA --
Three months in to the 2012/2013 budget, Dougherty County Administrator Richard Crowdis feels confidant in the county's direction.

Monday morning, the Dougherty County finance committee discussed three separate funds -- the solid waste enterprise fund (landfill), the general fund and the special services district fund.

Crowdis says he believes each is stable and on the right track. Crowdis especially feels the two mil increase in the special services district fund helped greatly in getting that particular fund on track.

The committee will continue to meet weekly and monitor the funds to their best to make sure each stays on track.
