ALBANY, GA. --

The Albany Advocacy Resource Center held its 34th Annual Community Awards Thursday night.

The dinner and awards ceremony was held at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Hundreds turned out to the event to hear keynote speaker Sean T. Casey speak about the creation of the Vocational Rehabilitation Agency.

“Governor Nathan Deal saw to take this program and make it a transparent independent agency where Albany ARC and other stakeholders are able to steer the boat and set their own course,” says Sean T. Casey, Deputy Commissioner for the Georgia Department of Revenue.

Casey says all of the members of the Albany ARC are a tremendous asset to the community.
