ALBANY, GA --
R.D. Harter with the Dougherty County School System says that the school board has known about the requirement to hire a principal for Albany High School since April.

Harter says the board has received an updated letter about the SIG grant stating that school must have an active principal. During Monday night's school board meeting, school system attorney Tommie Coleman will bring forward a CRCT report.

DCSS Superintendant Joshua Murfree has placed interim principals in those schools without a principal and Monday's meeting may address the issue.
