TAMPA, FLA --
Gas prices have fallen in the Southeastern United States another week, making it three in a row for the region according to AAA.

In the release, AAA says that total U.S. fuel demand dropped 0.3 percent in September to 18.3 million barrels a day, the lowest level since April, according to the Energy Department. This comes at a time when domestic crude output rose to its highest level since December of 1996 and demand making oil prices settling below $90 a barrel.

"Gas prices are expected to fall further this week in the Southeast region," said AAA spokeswoman Jessica Brady in the release. "The falling prices at the pump are starting to provide more relief to motorists who have watched gas prices climb since July."
