ALBANY, GA --
Women in the community showed their tough sides on Saturday during a motorcycle ride to honor victims of Domestic Abuse.

Dozens of female riders showed up to Power Sports Plus in purple to participate in an all-female motorcycle ride throughout Southwest Georgia to show victims they have support.

"There are a lot of women experiencing domestic violence in silence so we felt like we wanted to raise money for Liberty House to support them in their efforts to support victims and families of domestic violence,” said Rashunda Whitfield, one of the organizers.

The 50-mile ride took the women through Newton and Camilla before they ended back in Albany.
