ALBANY, GA --

A 38-year-old man dubbed as the “Pirate” has been captured after evading police and skipping out on his bond.

Cedrick Pittmon was picked up in Clayton County. He was booked into the Dougherty County Jail Wednesday.

Pittmon is facing at least 10 charges including possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime, 3 counts of aggravated assault, cruelty to children in the 3rd degree and probation violation.

The suspect was out of jail on a $3,000 bond for battery, cruelty to children and criminal trespassing before he went missing.

Investigators also believed Pittmon may have been involved with a shooting at 303 Slater King Drive in early January that left one woman injured.
