ALBANY, GA --
In our Facebook Story of the Day, you wanted to know what happens if you’re pulled over for suspectedly driving under the influence and refuse to take a breathalyzer test.

Officials say under Georgia Law you're required to submit to a state administered chemical test to determine if you’re over the legal limit. If you refuse, you’ll be charged with a DUI and lose your license for at least one year.

“It's really best to cooperate, and because of the fact that we've had so many refusals is why the state of Georgia came up with this law, and pretty much every state in the united states has a similar type of law,” said Captain Craig Dodd of the Dougherty County Sheriff's Office.

In order to legally drive in Georgia your blood alcohol content must be below 0.08%.
