Moultrie Tech ranks in the top 100 certificate-producing colleges in the US

A proud day for Moultrie Technical College.
They rank among the top 100 certificate-producing colleges in the US.
The distinction comes from a special report released from Community College Week Magazine in June of each year.
This year's report places Moultrie Tech at 61st in the nation in all disciplines represented among certificates offered and taking one year or less to complete.
The college awarded 1,159 technical certificates of credit in 2011, highlighting a 95 percent increase from 2010 in which 593 awards were presented.
Moultrie Tech also ranks 36th in the sub-category of African American students who completed one-year certificates.
The college saw a 72 percent leap in graduate numbers from 214 in 2010 to 368 in 2011.
