LENOX, GA. --

After winning a $16,000 KaBOOM! “Let’s Play” Community Construction Grant, Lenox officials are working on a project that'll keep kids active.

This is a follow up to a story FOX 31 reported back in July.

Lenox received the grant to set up a playground that encourages kids to stay healthy.

Playground equipment arrived Thursday and Friday crews began working to get the play center assembled.

Saturday a community build will be held at Roscoe Francis Memorial Park for anyone who wants to participate in putting the site together.

Free food and drinks will be available to volunteers.
