LEE COUNTY, GA. --

The general manager for the Lee County Utility Authority addressed the board during Wednesday's meeting about the almost complete wage survey.

The survey will coincide with the Lee County Board of Commissioners salary survey.

“I'll meet with the personnel committee probably sometime next month to finalize it. They can approve and make a recommendation to the Utility Authority,” says Chris Boswell, Lee County Utility Authority General Manager.

The Mercer Group is conducting the study.

During the meeting, the board also considered changing a routine that's been in place for close to 20 years.

Since 1993, the board has met on the third Thursday of the month.

After discussing whether or not to change the date, officials decided to keep the same routine.
