ALBANY, GA. --
The Albany Board of Ethics is making it clear that city officials who misuse their power won't be tolerated.

The ethics board met Monday to discuss the matter.

Officials went over rules and regulations connected to appointed city officials misusing their power for personal and economic gain.

They also talked about how complaints can be brought to the ethics board.

“We hope to come up with a rough draft template or form to go by if someone wants to file a complaint and then let the board look at it of course and then if it's approved by the board to go ahead and put it on the website,” says Nathan Davis, Albany City Attorney.

Davis says by placing complaints on the website, they'll be more accessible to the public.
