ALBANY, GA -- Leesburg officials gathered Monday to discuss budgetary concerns rising up from recent local options sales tax funds.

The city has reportedly lost $165,000 dollars in local option sales tax money, which normally would cause any city official to quiver. However for Leesburg, they'll be paying the money off over the next two years, which leads Mayor Jim Quinn to say there's no reason for alarm.

"It's going to be okay, we've got some employees we're going to hire back, we're going to put some spending off, we can reshuffle the budget and we should be okay," said Quinn.
