ALBANY, GA -- If you're a Dougherty County voter, you will now be able to vote for Lorenzo Heard in November's school board race.

According to Heard's lawyer, Maurice King, Heard has been certified as a write-in candidate.

However, King added that they plan to continue their suit against the Dougherty County Board of Elections.

Heard's application was rejected by the Dougherty County Board of Elections after failing to meet required criteria.
