SYLVESTER, GA -- UPDATE:

It took less than a week to locate a robbery suspect considered armed and dangerous after the Sylvester Police Department enlisted the public’s help.

According to Worth It 2 U, Bobby Drayton Jr. is now in police custody after a tip led them to the home where Drayton was hiding.

Drayton was involved in an early August armed robbery at the Worth Inn and the assault of four people after he broke into their home in Sylvester on August 30th.

Worth It 2 U says Drayton was arrested on Monday afternoon and was still in the Worth County Jail as of Tuesday.

Sylvester police need your help catching a suspect accused of assaulting four in a residence with a firearm.

Police say that on August 30th,  27-year-old Bobby Henry Drayton Jr. entered a residence located at 101 Cotton Street in Sylvester and assaulted four individuals within the residence with a firearm. Drayton then fled from the scene on foot.

Investigators say that one of the occupants, Arthur Lawrence Hill, was shot and taken to Phoebe Worth Medical Center. He was treated and released.

Police say that Drayton is the same individual that has active warrants for an armed robbery at the Worth Inn in Sylvester.

Drayton is described as a black male weighin 145 lbs and standing 5'11".
