ALBANY, GA --
The Dougherty County School Board has approved CRCT Tribunal recommendations for six teachers that have appeared thus far.

The board voted to approve the forty contract day suspension without pay for six teachers including Tiffany Randle, Tara Mallard, Jennifer Smith, Lavonda Jolivette, Fatima Jackson, and Alberta Wallace.

Due to their assignment at the Isaella complex, their time will be considered time served. They will lose around 22% of this years salary to make up for pay they would have lost.

"It's a sizable amount of money...we're talking about losing something like $10,000 for some of them." Said Dougherty County School Board Attorney Tommy Coleman.
