Baker County sheriff wins re-election

ALBANY, GA. --

The people of Baker County have re-elected Sheriff Dana Meade.

Tuesday afternoon Mead and his supporters were out greeting people as they made their way to the polls.

He took time to shake hands and talk with those who from the community.

He says now that he's won re-election, he's ready to get to work

“We're going to continue doing what we've been doing. We've made a lot of progress in the last four years and we're just going to continue to work hard and try to serve the people of Baker County,” says Dana Meade, Baker County Sheriff.

The sheriff says he's grateful for the support that he's gotten and he won't let the public down.
