Albany Fire Department puts out house fire on Whitehead Dr.

ALBANY, GA -- The Albany Fire Department responded to a fire Friday morning at 210 Whitehead Drive.

The family of four woke up to the fire around 7:30 AM, called the fire department, and escaped without injury.

Officials with the department say the fire was under control by 7:43 AM

At this time, investigators suspect that the fire started with the water heater.
