Tax free shopping coming soon for Georgians

ALBANY,GA --
The tax free holiday will start this coming Friday August 10th.

There will be no tax on many items kids will need for school.

Most things from clothes to notebooks and notebook computers will be tax exempt.

Clothing and footwear with a sales price under $100 is exempt.

Technology like computers, tablets and printers under $1,000 will also avoid the sales tax.

However, this does not include cell phones, copy machines and digital cameras.

Other supplies like book bags, pens, books and calculators under $20 are also exempt.
