Police conduct interviews outside the mall entrance Sunday afternoon after a man hit a woman in the head

ALBANY,GA --
A violent sight for shoppers at the Albany Mall Sunday as they witnessed a man hit a woman in the parking lot.
It happened outside the entrance to Books A Million around 3:30 p.m.
Witnesses say they saw a man driving along the outside of the mall, when he jumped out of his car and hit a woman on the head.
He then sped off.
Police have not released details on this case yet.
