ALBANY, GA --
In todays' Facebook story of the day you wanted to know how many bat species there are in southwest Georgia.

According to Beck's Wildlife Removal there are nine species of bats in the area.

The most common that can be seen are Mexican free tail bats, little brown bats and big brown bats.

bat can eat about half of its' weight in insects each night, which is beneficial to the area especially since the recent reports of West Vile Virus.

Micah Hollis, a Wildlife biologist for Truetech. Inc Wildlife Removal says it's important to have a bat infestation in your home it's important to have an expert remove it because their guano(bat feces) can cause respiratory problems.
