Dougherty School Board calls meeting for vacant positions Tuesday night

ALBANY, GA --
The Dougherty County School board has a specially called meeting tonight at 6 PM to discuss vacancies in the system.

Dougherty County County School System Public Information Officer R.D. Harter says they are approved to hire for vacancies by the school board at this meeting. To be able to report, they need to be approved.

Harter adds this is always a high anxiety moment trying to get people in place so close to school.
