ALBANY, GA --
Albany Technical College held a demonstration Wednesday, showcasing the work of their youngest set of engineers.

The Summer Robotics Camp, was started to encourage high school students in the area to explore the field of engineering, and hopefully choose Albany Tech to pursue that dream.

"It taught me how to work with small parts, and make beautiful things like the robot. Taught me how to program better, and most importantly it taught me how to work with teammates," said high school senior Christopher Rapley.

The program received a $2.4 million dollar grant last year, which is resulting in the programs massive expansion over the next several years.
