ALBANY, GA --
Water, Gas, and Light would prefer you pay your bills on time. However, if you're late for the month, you will end up paying another $6 on top of your bill.

If you're past the cut off date and your power has been cut, you'll then get slapped with a $30 fee.

But what of you're several months late? If you're six months late, that's when a collection agency is brought on board. However, if you continue to not pay your bills, Lori Farkas with Water, Gas, and Light says they'll try to work with you.

"Then we will make arrangements at that time and we will let them pay half of it plus the deposit and then we do make arrangements over about four or five months for them to pay the other half of what they owe us," says Farkas.
