ALBANY, GA --
The Housing Authority of Albany met Tuesday to discuss several issues including their current financial standings.

"On the finance side we're doing well, despite the tough funding situation, and we're currently running a small surplus, which is very good for us. We've got a budgeted deficit for the year, but it looks like we're going to be performing better than that," said Executive Director Dan McCarthy.

The Housing Authority will meet again next month, and is expecting to continue these financial numbers throughout the next year.
