Courtney Spencer named "Rookie of the Year"

ALBANY, GA --
On July 11, 2012 the Florida Motorcoach Association and Motorcoach Association of South Carolina presented Courtney Spencer, Albany Convention & Visitors Bureau’s Sales Manager, with the title ‘Rookie of the Year’.
There were 90 representatives from 40 different motorcoach operators present at the conference. Each representative voted for the first time associate member who demonstrated professional representation and who made the most impressionable efforts to conduct business and to network with Operator Members.
“It is an honor to be selected as ‘Rookie of the Year’,” Spencer said. “The sales industry, specifically the hospitality and Motorcoach industry, is relationship driven. To have been so welcomed as a part of their families and then the award, I’m so appreciative.”
Spencer is scheduled to attend three motorcoach conferences in 2012. Motorcoach conferences allow her to sell Albany to regional motorcoach tours, bringing upwards of 60 people each tour.
This is the second time in five years the Sales Manager from the Albany Convention & Visitors Bureau has received this honor. Liz Gray Barfield received this award in 2007.
