ALBANY, GA --
Students and faculty gathered at Albany Tech Tuesday morning for an official ribbon-cutting of the Academic Achievement Center.

The center, located in Freedom Hall, boasts three I-Studies with iPads specifically formulated for academic use, a math center with the newest technology, multiple labs filled with computers and more.

After three years of dispersed services, the Academic Achievement Center's staff say they are excited and ready to be under one roof .

"The energy I feel from having the staff right here together every single day is fabulous," said the Academic Achievement Center’s Director, Elaine Mercer.

Albany Tech's staff says now that the services are in one buildign, they can be a "village of support" for all students.
