ALBANY,GA --
In the Facebook story of the day, you wanted to know how much a city commissioner makes in a year.

Commissioners say people in the community often think they have high paying positions, when that really isn't the case.

“Mayor's salary is $25,000 a year and each member of the board receive $15,000 per year,” says City Attorney Nathan Davis.

The commission has the power to raise or lower their salaries, but the change wouldn't go into effect until the next term.
