ALBANY, GA --
An Albany man is in the hospital after being stabbed shortly after 3 PM Thursday afternoon.
Investigators say that 19-year old Aaron Thomas got into a physical altercation with the suspect. At some point, the suspect retrieved a knife from his home and stabbed the victim. At this time, police believe that the initial altercation occurred on the inside of the suspect’s home and the stabbing occurred on the outside.
Thomas was able to make his way to 902 Leisure Court Apartment A to call for assistance according to officers. Thomas has been transported to the hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
The suspect has been placed in custody and no motive is known at this time.
