ALBANY, GA --
Two men were arrested today and face multiple charges for their involvement in an assault that happened early Sunday morning.

Antwon Smith and Shanard Smith - both 21 and unrelated - face charges of burglary, aggravated assault, armed robbery, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Their victim, Casey Washington, was taken to Phoebe Putney with serious head and facial injuries.

Washington told police he was at his cousin's apartment when an unknown black male knocked on the door and pointed a gun at him.

When Washington tried to run, he said two other men grabbed him and repeatedly kicked and punched him in the head.
