ALBANY, GA --
The Albany Marathon continued it's tradition of giving back to the community Wednesday by providing the Hospice program with a $25,000 dollar check.

"We use that money to meet special need of our patients. It can be used to buy new pieces of equipment, or special things like holding a birthday party for a patients grandchild. So we use it for special things such as that," said Hospice Director, Patty Woodall.

The program is looking forward to many more years with the Albany Marathon organizers in the future.
