ALBANY, GA -- The Lee County Parks and Recreation Authority met Tuesday to discuss a standing loan.

With a short agenda, the Parks and Recreation Authority renewed a standing loan that the city is continued to pay off over the last several years.

"We have an outstanding operations loan, we've had the loan for several years, we're paying it off slowly. The good news is that with the loan renewal, we've saved about a point and a half interest on it," said Vice-Chairman, Rick Muggridge.

The Parks and Recreation Authority will adjourn for the Fourth of July holiday and return June 10th for their next scheduled meeting.
