ALBANY, GA --
Albany Technical College presented the Marine Corps Logistics Command's Marine Depot Maintenance Command with the manufacturer of the year award for the second year in a row.

The award was given to the MDMC for their partnership with Albany Tech that provides the civilian workforce with a co-op study program.

The MDMC is no stranger to the award, with at least three titles to their name, but still recognizes its importance.

"That partnership is extremely essential for us and to us so it's great to be recognized today by the community and by the college," said MDMC Commander, Colonel Steve Medeiros.

The MDMC serves to repair, maintain and overhaul the Marine Corps' ground combat equipment.
