ALBANY, GA -- Albany State University alumni met Friday to discuss the future of the university.

With each school considering its students to be the "life-blood" that keeps it going, it is important to remember the former blood that brought that university to this point.

"The main goal of our annual conference is to position the association such that it can enhance Albany state's ability to recruit, and attack the best and brightest students to our university," said Greg Hylick, President of the Alumni Association.

Each year the Alumni are invited to these meetings to reflect on the past, and form the ideas that will create the future of Albany State University.
