ALBANY, GA --
The Lee County Utilities Commission met Thursday to finalize their 2012-2013 budget.

With a brief meeting, the committee voted and approved the new budget, which General Manager Chris Boswell says is an important part of this group.

"We have to come up with a balanced budget, which the budget committee is going to recommend tonight to the full board," said Boswell.

The committee will meet again in the coming weeks to discuss several other issues concerning the community and hopes everyone will take an active role in these discussions.
