Hunters around the United States got some good news Monday as new guidelines were passed allowing licenses to be purchased over the internet.

The redesigned system allows hunters to apply for deer, alligator, waterfowl, dove and other game over their computers. This removes the pervious system of going to an outdoors equipment store to purchase a license. But how will this affect local businesses? Jackie Sizemore, owner of "Backwoods Outdoors" in Albany says if shouldn't change much at all.

"As far as a business standpoint, I don't think it hurts or helps. If anything, it might not bring people to your store that were going to get their license, but now they can get them at home. But other then that it doesn't hurt the business really at all," said Sizemore.

With the new system in place, Sizemore says he expects to make a higher profit in the coming months. He says producing licenses actually cost more money, and he makes little to no profit off them.
