The Parks and Recreation committee for Lee County met Monday to discuss a standing loan for Grand Island.

With the loan currently standing at $152,581 dollars, the committee has begun the process of hearing bids for the loan and property.

"This loan was originally procured by Lee County for renovations, complete renovations of Grand Island. And it's now up for renewal and we're putting it up for bids," said Ed Duffy, Chairman of Parks and Recreation.

The committee will meet later this month to discuss any options that become available in the next few weeks.
