The Veranda was named "2012 Small Business of the Year"

ALBANY, GA --
The Albany-area chamber of commerce held a "Rise N Shine" breakfast Thursday morning to name the "2012 Small Business of the Year."
Verge, the Veranda, and Flint Community Bank were announced as the three finalists based off of four criteria:
1) An indication of continued growth
2) Innovation of product and services offered
3) Resiliency when dealing with challenges and opportunities
4) The business's overall contribution to the community
The Veranda, a health facility that offers family services, child care, OB-GYN services and more was given the top honor and received a plaque with the new title.
