ALBANY, GA. --
Hundreds of people turned out to the Albany Civic Center to cheer on American Idol finalist Phillip Phillips.
The Albany-Dougherty Inner City Authority (ADICA) and the Albany Recreation and Parks Department set up a large screen for fans to watch the show.
People showed up with Phillip Phillips posters and t-shirts supporting the star.
Not only was there free entertainment, but there were also free door prizes.
FOX 31 will host a viewing party for the American Idol finale Wednesday night at the Lee County High School football stadium.
