Armed robbers invade home on Clark Avenue

ALBANY, GA -- An early morning home armed robbery leaves two men with injuries.

According to Albany police, 41-year-old James Green, 61-year-old Willie Martin, and 59 -year-old Larry Howard were at a home in the 2200 block of Clark Avenue early Tuesday morning when men dressed in dark clothing forced their way into the home and demanded money at gunpoint. The suspects searched the home but found no money and later fled the scene.

Investigators say that during the robbery, Green was shot in the hand and Martin sustained a laceration to the head after being struck with a gun. Green was transported by EMS to a hospital for treatment.
