Dougherty county police need help finding the man that robbed the Albany Express
Police think criminals are taking Newport cigarettes because they’re an expensive brand and they can make a bigger profit. Police say they’re stepping up patrols in the area to help protect the local business owners. The window will cost $1600 to replace.

ALBANY, GA --
Dougherty County Police need your help finding the man who burglarized the Albany Express at 5736 Newton Road.
On May 15, 2012 at 3:39 a.m. a black male in his late 40's to early 50's broke into the Albany Express and stole around $400 worth of Newport cigarettes. The suspect is clean shaven and was wearing a camouflage jacket , grey pants, grey dress shoes, and a black toboggan.
