ALBANY, GA --
The Southwest Georgia Regional Airport held a meeting today to discuss the upcoming construction and where they are financially.

The terminal construction, which will be ongoing until June of 2013, is on schedule due to the recent cooperative weather and the airport is financially stable, despite revenue going down.

"Our revenue is down, slightly, but our expenditures are holding so we're not doing too bad considering the state of the economy right now," said Kenneth Johnson, the airport’s Deputy Director.

Johnson hopes that by this time next year the new terminal will be completed and revenue will greatly increase.
