ALBANY, GA -- Carol Fullerton announced Monday her intent to run for re-election, just in a different House district than she previously won.

According to her press release, Fullerton will run in for the Georgia House of Representatives in the 153rd district. She was originally elected in District 151, but due to new district lines being drawn, her district area has changed.

Fullerton will officially announce that she will seek re-election to the Georgia House of Representatives at the Bridge House on Front Street at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.

“I am sincerely grateful for the opportunity to serve the citizens of Albany and Dougherty County,” says Fullerton. “My pledge is to utilize my experience at our state’s Capitol in order to seek continued economic growth for Albany through business development and educational and health care priorities” said Fullerton in the release.
